  • who is the tubman.network ?

    The tubman.network is an alliance of Black organisations and allies. It was created by African and Afro-diasporic associations, as well as Black-owned businesses. The network was formed in February 2022 to take collective action to help marginalized people of African and Afro-diaspora heritage fleeing from the Ukraine. Within days, the generous help of tireless volunteers ensured that affected people were welcomed and provided with warmth, food, medical and legal advice, and the possibility of shelter.

    Services specifically tailored to the current situation is support in finding:

    • * Information to study
    • * Legal advice
    • * Psychological advice
    • * German language course
    • * Mother-child counseling
    • * Community events

  • where is tubman.network located?

    We use many different venues for our events and programs. Please make sure to check for the right location on your invitation.

    Huttenstraße is located directly by Turmstraße, near the S-Bhf Westhafen (S41, S42) and U-Bhf Birkenstraße (U9).

    Since we have no regular office hours, please make an appointment before visiting our office location.
